Oude Westhof

Oude Westhof, a quiet residential suburb, is tucked away in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.  Nestled just below the Tygerberg Hills, alongside the serenity of the Tygerberg Nature Conservancy and the idyllic pastoral undulating hills of the vineyards, this unique residential suburb has the privilege to enjoy sweeping, ever-changing vistas stretching across the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains.

Our suburb comprises approximately 650 single residential properties and group housing units, as well as a small commercial component.  There are only two entrances to the suburb and it is securely enclosed on three sides.  Originally a wine farm owned by the Malan family, the residential area has transformed and stands proud today as a most sought-after estate where families can enjoy living in a secure, relaxed environment, while being close to various amenities. It is conveniently located 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, 10 minutes from Tygervalley Shopping Centre, 5 minutes from the Bellville Golf Course and in close proximity of numerous good schools.  The suburb’s greenbelt has recently been upgraded with trees and gardens, pedestrian pathways as well as a children’s playground.  The nearby fitness-friendly nature conservancy offers paths for cycling, jogging or walking.  All these are hallmarks of a healthy, safe and stress-free environment.

The Oude Westhof Masters Homeowners Association is a non-profit organisation managed by a board of trustees with a positive commitment aimed at protecting the rights and interests of all property owners and ensuring that beauty, tranquillity and security are maintained in the suburb.
